Denver, CO (December 8, 2025) – Chef Troy Guard’s TAG Restaurant Group (TRG) is ringing in the holiday season with a lineup of festive experiences for every palate. Guests can enjoy a raunchy XXXMas Pop-Up Bar at Los Chingones RiNo, a holiday-themed “Will It Cocktail” edition at Done Deal, and family-friendly Gingerbread House Decorating Parties at all HashTAG locations. Each celebration is made to honor the season and share in the joy of food, community, and holiday cheer.

XXX-Mas Cocktail Bar at Los Chingones RiNo
WHAT: Los Chingones, Chef Troy Guard’s badass Mexican concept, is turning up the heat with the return of its XXX-Mas Pop-Up Bar, offering a bold and raunchy kind of holiday cheer. The risqué pop-up on the rooftop is adorned with vibrant and festive decor throughout the new space. Guests can sip on creative holiday drink specials while enjoying the playful atmosphere, designed to deliver a cheeky, fun experience for those embracing their spot on the naughty list.
Every weekend from December 4 through 21, the pop-up bar will feature playful specialty cocktails, including the Wanna Scrooge with Bulleit, cinnamon, nutmeg, chocolate, and orange bitters; Coco Busta’Nut with Puerto Rican Coquito, rum, cocktail cream, cinnamon, and nutmeg; Rim Job Rum Punch with apple cider, dark rum, orange, lemon, and maple; Jell-HOHOHO shots topped with whipped cream; and more.

Will it Cocktail LIVE! Holiday Edition at Done Deal
WHAT: Done Deal, TAG Restaurant Group’s upscale cocktail lounge in downtown Denver, is ringing in the holiday season with a special edition of Will it Cocktail LIVE!, featuring Bardstown Whiskey. What began as a fun social media experiment has grown into a lively in-person event, where Bar Liaison Jacob Pike and bartender Emil Frieslaar transform a dish from Done Deal’s menu into a cocktail right before the audience’s eyes. The holiday edition promises festive flair as the creation unfolds live on camera.

Gingerbread House Parties at HashTAG
WHAT: HashTAG, Chef Troy Guard’s boozy brunch concept, is turning its locations into festive holiday workshops with Gingerbread House Decorating Parties for all ages. On December 20 and 21, guests can unleash their creativity while decorating their very own gingerbread house and enjoying a plate of HashTAG favorites.
For adults ($50 plus tax and gratuity), each ticket includes two drink tickets for mimosas, margaritas, beer, or a festive non-alcoholic beverage, a choice of Smashburger, California Turkey Melt, or Reuben & Fries, and a gingerbread house kit and sugar cookies with decorations. To make sure even the littlest artists are fully fueled for festive fun, kids' tickets ($35 plus tax and gratuity) include chicken fingers & fries, a non-alcoholic drink or hot chocolate, and a gingerbread house kit and sugar cookies with decorations.

About Chef Troy Guard
Born and raised in Hawaii, Chef Troy Guard has lived and worked across the globe, beginning his storied career in San Diego at the Omni La Costa Resort and Spa. Guard moved back to Maui at the age of 21 where he met his mentor, Chef Roy Yamaguchi at the Kahana Bar and Grill. Under the tutelage of Yamaguchi, Troy traveled across Asia, opening multiple outposts over a span of eight years in Hong Kong, Singapore and Tokyo. While in Asia, Guard had the amazing opportunity to set off on his own and work at two of the finest hotels in the world, The Peninsula in Hong Kong and Raffles in Singapore. Guard reconnected with Roy, landing in New York to open Roy’s New York in the Downtown Business District and eventually moved on to the prestigious TAO on 57th Street. Guard put down roots in Denver, CO in 2002, and helped modern-Mexican Chef Richard Sandoval open hotspot Zengo in Riverfront Park before joining the kitchens at Nine75 and Ocean with real estate development mogul Jim Sullivan.
Guard opened his first restaurant, TAG, on Denver’s Larimer Square in 2009 which led to his opening of Mister Tuna, Crazy Love Pizza, TAG Burger Bar, Lucky Cat, TAG Raw Bar, Big Wave Taco, Sugar Mill, Tiny Giant Sushi, Rado Burgers, Grange Food Hall and FNG. TAG Restaurant Group currently has six concepts over eleven restaurants including the boozy breakfast joint, HashTAG, the quick-casual, build-your-own bowl Bubu, the bold Mexican concept Los Chingones, the chic cocktail bar Done Deal, the neighborhood hangout TAG Burger Bar and the show-stopping, modern steakhouse, Guard & Grace, and most recently, the chic cocktail bar, Done Deal. While the concepts vary wildly, throughout you will find evidence of Troy's Hawaiian roots as well as special global touches, creatively woven into the menus.
Guard has numerous accolades and awards to his name including being voted Best Chef in Denver, awarded one of the Top Steakhouses in the Nation with Guard and Grace, named one of the “Great Regional Chefs of America” by the James Beard Foundation, named Bar & Restaurant Expo’s 2023 Chef of the Year and most recently was honored by the MICHELIN Guide as a recommended restaurant with Guard and Grace. Always giving back to his community, Guard is very active in local and national philanthropic efforts, including participation in a variety of cultural and charitable events throughout Denver.
